Laser decorating / engraving
Laser decorating/engraving is an eminent supplementation to the methods of decorating known up till now such as pad printing, silk-screen painting, heat marking, ink-jet etc.
The method has the advantage that it gives a permanent mark, which can be carried out on plastic as well as metal where the result becomes dark on light subjects and light on dark subjects.
The decoration/engraving never disappears and therefore is ideal for decorations meant to last e.g. on control panels, buttons, sanitary installations, aids and appliances for handicapped persons etc.
The technique is very useful for products that have to be background-illuminated (day and night design) for instance keyboards for mobile phones, buttons for aircraft and cars where the object first is being spray-painted and then laser-engraved.
